Professional Growth Series: “How to Write a Great Reference Letter” presented by Dr. Kim Germain | Director, Undergraduate Research: As advisors, we get asked for references from students as part of our jobs, and sometimes we’re asked to write references for colleagues, like for Advising Awards. It’s easy to agree to write for someone, but how do you write a truly helpful reference? This session explores how to approach writing reference letters confidently, how to pitch them appropriately, and how to best support the person you’re writing for.
