2021 – 2022 Advising Summits
For Fall 2021, the Advising Summit was held virtually on Friday, October 1st. Our agenda included presentations from the Campus Advocacy Network, the Academic Center of Excellence (ACE), Breakthrough Tech Chicago, and a featured presentation and interactive activity from the Honors College. We also hosted visits from Dr. Lindsey Back from the Office for Research on Student Success to preview upcoming events in the Student Success Lecture Series and a new Non-Cognitive Dashboard project, and Dr. Kirsten Straughan who provided information on the new Minor in Food Science and gave a preview to their information session being held on October 6th.

The Spring 2022 Advising Summit was held on Friday, February 18th virtually on Zoom. Our agenda included a range of presentations and announcements including information on remote attendance from the DRC and DOS, an interactive team challenge, and a presentation from Athletics Academic Advising. Kiely Fletcher again came to do an update on Financial Aid. We also gave a preview to our Advisor Week activities!
