What’s Going On? is student-centered programming held the first Friday of each month with presentations and discussions on rotating mental health topics. Students have the opportunity to share their experiences on a range of topics focusing on Black Mental Health and Wellness.
This month we have a special guest. Dr. Cheryl Taliaferro, from the UIC Counseling Center, will lead us in an in-person Mindfulness workshop. There will be candles, tea, and hot chocolate to set the mood for your stress relief.
The workshop will held in person at the African American Cultural Center, 830 S. Halsted St, Addams Hall Room 209. The workshop will occur on Friday April 7th, 2023, from 10:00-11:30AM
