SHARE WITH STUDENTS: U and I Care Facts – Winter Blues and Supporting Someone Who is Undocumented

The Winter Blues

If the winter is affecting your mood, you are not alone. To stay energized, try to get outside at least once a day, eat well, and socialize with friends and family. If your mood is affecting your ability to attend class or work, you may be suffering from seasonal affective disorder. The Counseling Center is here to help.

Supporting Someone Who is Undocumented

UIC students are incredibly diverse, coming from so many different places and ethnic backgrounds.
Many students have questions about how recent changes to immigration policies may affect their education.
Students may also have anxiety about the immigration status of family and friends.
UIC has many resources to try to give you information and support. Please reach out for a confidential conversation and more information at dream.uic.edu.
