The Theatre Department at the School of Theatre and Music invites you to enroll in THTR 145 Acting Fundamentals for Non-majors. This is an acting class for beginners taught by Chicago Director, Playwright, Producer and Teaching Artist Monet Felton. The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 2:50 pm.
Ever been curious what it takes to be an actor? Want to get better at speaking in front of groups of people? Acting fundamentals can help. In this class you’ll be given basic tools to teach you what it takes to be an actor and how to get in front of groups of people and be someone else or yourself.
