Spring 2024 - LING 260 "Language Acquisition, Language Contact and Bilingualism"
Explore how we learn language and how we become bilingual

Have you ever wondered why human language acquisition is so complex? In LING 260, we'll look at the social and cognitive aspects involved in language acquisition with particular emphasis on heritage languages within the framework of language as a human right.

Individual and Society / US Society Gen Ed.

Spring 2024 New Course - ARAB 105 "Modern Arab Culture"
Join us in Spring 2024 for an exploration of modern Arab culture. Through movies, articles, lectures, music, and literary and historical texts, ARAB 105 introduces fresh perspectives that aim to correct negative stereotypes that emerged from viewing Arab culture primarily through the lens of politics, religion, and economics. Taught in English! No prior knowledge required.

Spring 2024 INTL 301 "Transitions from War to Peace"
Why do wars start and how do they end? How is peace achieved? What about justice, human rights, and retribution during and after war?

International Studies (INST) 301 explores this and more! Juniors and seniors of all backgrounds are welcome.
