SHARE WITH STUDENTS: Socially Engaged Art Online Independent Study- looking for students interested in marketing/social media experience (all majors)!
SAAH instructor Faheem Majeed is looking for a wide range of students with different skills sets to work with him to research and develop his upcoming Online Socially Engaged Art Practice Course. The independent study will function similar to many of Majeed’s socially engaged art projects in that It will be developed collaboratively and will reflect the numerous members of the class’ interest and expertise. With that in mind he is in the process of identifying a broad and diverse range of students from several UIC departments with an interest in building this new platform for art education.
Students don’t need to have experience in working in public spaces or a background in art. We are looking for students who have and interest and a drive to help building a new and innovative platform for public dialogue and digital learning.
Interested students will need to schedule conversation and interview with Faheem Majeed prior to approval.
