We're excited to offer a new course for Fall 2019: SPAN / FR / ITAL 196 - Totalitarianism, Writing and Cinema!
This course is a semester-long exploration of an idea that stands at the root of the upheaval that defined much of Twentieth century culture, politics and art. Students will study modern art, literature and film from Germany, Spain, France and Italy to see how they defied or fed into totalitarian fantasies.
