We want to support LAS students in finding internships so that you are Career Ready!
This program, in collaboration with the UIC Career Services Employer Relations Team, will provide an opportunity for LAS students to connect and engage with employers in a welcoming format outside of the traditional career fair
setting. Students that register will be provided with professional development guidance and support leading up to the event including a resume review to boost their confidence and be fully prepared to interact with
employers.
During the event on Thursday, February 16th, you will:
- Learn the skills and career readiness competencies valued by employers
- Connect with employers and learn about different organizations and internship opportunities
- Practice your elevator pitch
- Take a professional headshot
- Lunch will be provided in addition to fun raffle prizes!
