The Department of Germanic Studies is excited to offer GER 318/ENGL 378 - "Serial Storytelling and Disability in German-Speaking and Anglo-American Contexts" - taught by visiting professor Dr. Linda Leskau in Fall 2022.
This course explores serial storytelling from 19th-century penny dreadfuls to 20th TV soap operas with a particular focus on how disabled characters are represented.
Taught completely in English, this course has no prerequisites and is open to all interested students!
