I hope everyone is health and safe!  It’s that time of year again where both AAAN and Ace recruit and select talented students to help guide members of the incoming freshmen class and new transfer students.  As always, we need your help in securing these leaders by helping us get the word out about this opportunity.  Feel free to use the communication below to spread the word about our Peer Success Coach position.  Please pass along to students you feel will be a good match for our departments and the incoming class of UIC students.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Hi UIC Scholar,

AAAN and Ace are recruiting experienced UIC students to become Peer Success Coaches this upcoming Fall 2020 semester.  Peer Success Coaches serve as a point person for UIC students, and help connect them with campus resources.  This is a student leader position, and offers a great opportunity!

  • Coaches receive extensive training and staff support in their roles. We value our coaches, and want them to be successful! Training will scheduled before the Fall term begins.
  • Coaches recruit students for individual meetings and deliver social & academic programming.
  • Flexible schedule and hours.
  • Wages are $13/hour.
  • Applicants should be in good academic standing (at least 3.0 GPA), and at minimum finishing their 1st year at UIC.
