The Student Success Lecture Series presents research and initiatives being undertaken by the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and Academic Programs and across campus to better understand and improve the success of UIC students. The series also offers opportunities for dialogue among faculty, staff, and administrators who are designing and studying various dimensions of student success at UIC, which could lead to recommendations for practice that will benefit our students.

Presentation Title: iAdvise Update

Topic Overview:
Since its initial pilot phase in Spring of 2019, the iAdvise integrated planning and advising system has become an integral tool to facilitate scheduling of meetings and to provide increased communication between students, faculty, advisors, coaches and other units to support student success. This presentation will give an overview of the current functionality of the system and possibilities for future development. We will also examine a sample of the data available in iAdvise with an eye toward ideas on how to use the system to improve student success.
