PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Upcoming APAC Election – Nominations due by 5pm on May 18th
Dear Members of the Advising Community categorized as Academic Professionals (APs):
The UIC Academic Professional Advisory Committee (APAC) invites members of the AP community to apply for one of nine (9) vacancies as a General Representative on the Committee. Nomination Petitions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Responsibilities of an APAC General Representative
APs who serve as an APAC General Representative help perform the following roles and functions:
• Meet with and advise campus leadership
• Prepare recommendations on campus policy and procedures
• Communicate with campus on news, events, and timely concerns
• Help coordinate events to address significant issues
• Take other actions as appropriate to help address AP interests and concerns
