The iAdvise Project Team has a tip and a reminder about last week's tip for you:
Flags with course contexts will system clear at the end of the term!
iAdvise's flags are designed to provide course contexts when an instructor may raise them or the issue is related to a course the student is taking. This is a reminder that as we change terms. those flags with a course context will be auto-cleared by the system so if you are actively working with a student or faculty member, please ensure that you either click "Both" in the Student Profile or "Active and Resolved" in your Tracking Menu to be able to view and make comments on the item.
REMINDER from LAST WEEK -
NEW RELEASE coming to the Live Environment - Institutional Profile Update on May 24th
iAdvise has a new release coming on Monday, May 24th. We will be releasing the new confirmation for the Institutional Profile. The profile and its components will have a new visual look for all iAdvise users and is slightly reorganized (the settings are grouped more intuitively) in different pages, but the functionality remains the same. You will continue to be able to update your General Overview, Biography, add calendar managers, set your scheduling deadline, set reminders, and adjust settings for where you start in iAdvise, and much more.
If you have been in the Test Environment within the past months, this new release is already available so you can review the new visual look! Upon release into the live environment on May 24th, we will update the documentation on the iAdvise website. Plesase contact the iAdvise Team with specific questions, we don't anticipate any interruption in the system with this changeover.
