PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Study Abroad Podium Education Info Session 9/22
The Study Abroad Office is pleased to welcome to campus Aled Owens, Head of University Partnerships, from Podium Education. We would like to invite the advising community to a meet & greet to learn more about the newer Global Tech Experience (GTX) program we launched this summer.
The GTX program is an online course that features project-based learning activities via asynchronous and synchronous modalities and intercultural education elements designed to prepare students for in-demand career skills related to data analysis, online marketing, and coding. Our pilot programs have seen 124 students participate so far and we expect to see this number increase in the coming terms.
The meeting will take place Friday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM. Join us for coffee and donuts to learn more about this exciting new program. A zoom link is also available for colleagues who are unable to join in person.
