Getting to Know the New 2019 Students
Our new students have brought UIC to the largest undergraduate study body in our history. Come and learn about our new first-year undergraduates. Data will be presented on the application profiles of the students who apply and matriculate to UIC and admissions records for students who started at UIC in Fall, 2019. In addition, results from the new financial concerns and high need referral questions (e.g., food insecurities, disabilities accommodations) from the prematriculation inventory will be presented.
Presenters include:
Oscar Rodriguez, Associate Vice Provost for Academic and Enrollment Services
Bill Hayward, Director of Institutional Research
Stephanie Estrada, Senior Associate Director of Institutional Research
Anna Pasillas-Santoyo, Associate Director of Institutional Research
Sue Farruggia, Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs

The OVPUAAP's Office for Research on Student Success (ORSS) is pleased to announce the next installment of its campus lecture series, showcasing research being carried out across UIC to better understand and ultimately improve the success of UIC students. The ORSS Lecture Series on Student Success Research grew out of the UIC Student Success Initiative, and has the dual purpose of opening a cross-disciplinary dialogue among researchers employing different perspectives and approaches to answer related questions about student success at UIC, and putting that research into the hands of practitioners who can make use of it for the benefit of our students.
For questions, please contact Dr. Sue Farruggia, Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs, at spf@uic.edu.
