In addition to over 20 educational opportunities at the Student Affairs Conference, this year’s event will offer some very special programs. Make the most of your conference experience by taking part in some of our featured programs: Build A Bike Challenge, Collaboration Lounge, and Career Center.
Build-A-Bike Challenge
Wednesday, August 8th
3:00 – 4:30PM
The Build-A-Bike Team Building workshop and service event is a brainy, challenging, program where teams solve specific challenges in order to build bicycles for a worthy children’s charity in our local area! Remember that first, brand-new bicycle that you got when you were a tot? For many of these kids, this will be the first bike they will have ever owned, and your gift means freedom to these young people. To learn more, check out this video!
Collaboration Lounge
Wednesday, August 8th
10:30AM – 2:45PM
Thursday, August 9th
9:00AM – 1:30PM
Finding the time and space to collaborate can be tough. On both days of the conference, you have the opportunity to visit the Collaboration Lounge to reflect and work with other colleagues. Use the community spaces to brainstorm and develop ways you or other units can collaborate across campus and in the community. Plan a meeting with the colleague you’ve been meaning to catch up with, spend time reflecting on the work you do, or simply take some time to learn about what others do on campus - all can take place in the Collaboration Lounge.
Career Center
Wednesday, August 8th
10:30AM – 2:45PM
Thursday, August 9th
