Fall 2022 International Student Updates for UIC Academic Advisors

In this virtual town hall, the Office of International Services will provide timely updates and reminders regarding international student immigration status maintenance and support. This town hall is designed for administrators whose work involves supporting international students in their academic programs. Topics will include:
- Visa processing updates from the U.S. Department of State
- Online Immigration Check-In and SEVIS hold removal
- International Student Orientation hosted by OIS
- International student enrollment requirements for fall 2022
- SSN application updates from the Social Security Administration
- Questions from UIC Academic Advisors
