PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: iAdvise News – Student Dashboard and Drop-In Language updated throughout iAdvise!

The iAdvise Project Team has news for you:

Student Dashboard Updated in iAdvise
The student dashboard has been updated in iAdvise. Students will continue to start in iAdvise in their My Success Network, but now have access to a dashboard that will show them their notifications, kudos, flags, tasks, etc. and their "My Services" section from their success network. They will continue to go to "Upcoming" in order to see and manage their upcoming appointments, and will continue to see all messages sent to their email (or text if they've elected for it)  in their "Messages" section of iAdvise.

"Walk-In" language has been updated to "Drop-In" in all areas of iAdvise
While we have in our documentation and in language used the term "drop-in" for interactions that are not appointments, as many iAdvise users have heard the iAdvise Project Team mention, the term "walk-in" was hard coded into the system. We are very pleased that the more inclusive terminology of "drop-in" has been updated now in all areas of iAdvise. Please let us know if you notice any areas that it has not been updated as "drop-in" is the accepted campus language used.
