We often get questions about the Message function in iAdvise - keep in mind that it is confidential between the staff user and the student! For something more open ended that others will see so they can suppor the student, we recommend exploring using a "To Do" or other tracking item (Kudos or Flags, etc.) instead of using "Message."
There is a To Do called "You need to..." which is intended for miscellaneous use and can be used for any range of tasks that a student needs to be nudged to do...
The iAdvise Team is always happy to explore your best options with you related to nudging students to take actions using iAdvise.
