Are you interested in engaging in conversations with educators from across the world regarding participation and leadership of women in higher education? Want to broaden your interactions with those doing critical research in the area of women, gender, and inequality in higher education?

Participate in a one-of-a-kind learning experience by submitting a proposal to present at the inaugural NACADA 24-Hour Virtual Academic Advising Conference which begins on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 through Wednesday, September 11, 2019. This one-day, unique-to-NACADA livestream conference will be available globally for interested participants. The conference theme is “Building Community and Embracing Change: The Global Voices of Women in Academic Advising”. The call for proposals is open until May 29, 2019.

The purpose of this virtual conference is to highlight the voices of women globally and amplify the research that examines normative practices around women and gender in higher education. This conference provides an excellent opportunity to share leadership stories of women, gain a greater understanding of the unique challenges faced within the profession, and more importantly, to give deeper meaning to the individual lived experiences of those we serve. In addition, this conference will be an exceptional professional development opportunity for anyone interested in advancing their skill set, gaining the tools necessary for student success, and understanding analyses and approaches to gendered experiences in higher education. We look forward to your submission!

We hope that you will submit proposals to present at the NACADA 24-Hour Virtual Academic Advising Conference!
