FOR ADVISORS’ INFORMATION: Advising Alert – Changes coming to KN 251 & 252

Effective Fall 2024, the Anatomy and Physiology courses will be split into separate lectures and labs:

Previous course

KN 251 (5 hours)
KN 230 (3 hours)
KN 232 (2 hours)

KN 252 (5 hours)

KN 231 (3 hours)

KN 233 (2 hours)

  • This change will allow students to take the lecture and lab separately, should they choose to do so.
  • A grade of C or better in BIOS 110 and cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 will remain as the prerequisite for KN 230 and 231.
  • Completion of KN 230 is the prerequisite for KN 231.
  • KN 253 and KN 254 will continue to offered at this time, but we expect to sunset these courses in the near future.
