On Thursday, Feb. 16th 12:30-1:30pm in Burnham Hall 121 there will be a presentation on Field-Based Research Opportunities Abroad presented by the School for International Training (SIT) and the School for Field Studies (SFS).
Both academic partners offer semester and summer study abroad programs that focus on critical global issues such as natural resource management, global health, and human rights. Students engage in hands-on learning, work with local communities, and conduct field-based research projects utilizing natural and social science research methods. Please join our info session where SIT and SFS representatives will share program details, research examples, and special scholarship information exclusively for UIC students.
The session welcomes students, advisors, and faculty. A link to the flier for the event is in the Events section of the SAO website <http:studyabroad.uic.edu>
