Layali al-fam Series - Do You Think You Can Dabke? A Palestinian Folkloric Dance Workshop
Come join us for an interactive and fun evening of dabke, an Arab folk dance led by Ahmed Hamad as part of our monthly Layali Al Fan series. Layali Al Fan is a monthly event that bring the oral, dance, & musical traditions of the Arab region to our community at UIC. Ahmed Hamad is a Chicago based performer and instructor. Hamad's work is inspired by both cultural resistance and preservation.
