SHARE WITH INCOMING STUDENTS: Late start and one-day Summer College programs still open for registration!
Summer College started last week for the six-week programs and Summer Enrichment Math's first session, but don't forget that there are programs that start in July as well. There are a wide variety of one-day programs being offered in July that are still open for registration. Here's a preview:
Summer Enrichment Mathematics Workshop – 3 Week Program - Don’t forget that there’s a second three week session starting on July 16th and students can still register for the second session.
TRIO Fire Start - 1 Week Program – Two different sessions are being offered for this exciting one-week program for qualifying students that includes trips to local organizations like 1871, etc.
Council on Teacher Education – CTE Ignites – New this year, this one-day program is ideal for future teachers who want a jump start to achieve their goals.
Critical Thinking for College Success – Don’t forget this veteran of one-day programs – there are two more dates still available for this excellent program.
Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services Program (LARES) – LARES will offer a one-day program on the importance of Latino electoral participation and civic engagement in Illinois and Chicago that is open to all incoming students.
Making the Connection: Research, Inquiry and Discovery at UIC – The Office of Undergraduate Research returns with another of our veteran one-day Summer College programs this July.
Urban Health Program: Preparing for Academic Student Success (UHP-PASS) Pre-Health Day of Exploration – UHP’s one day exploration for pre-health students with presentations and tours is being offered on two different dates this July.

Registration
The Summer College registration system is now open so please encourage your new first-year students who are eligible to register for one or more Summer College programs! Registration for Summer College happens through the my.UIC portal so incoming students can log in and register there. Invitations to eligible students have begun as well.
