WINTER HOLIDAY "OUT OF OFFICE" INFORMATION
UIC's advising offices will be closed and staff will be away from the office from December 24th through January 3rd. We will return on January 4th. If you have an emergency and need immediate help, please contact UIC Emergency services. If you have emailed your advisor, or other staff members at UIC, we will respond as soon as possible once we return to the office.

Identifying Your Advisor and Scheduling Appointments
Academic advisors are professional staff who assist you with course selection, scheduling, degree requirements, administrative requirements, the interpretation of rules and regulations, and the utilization of campus resources. Academic advising is available to all UIC students. Your college determines and verifies that you have met all requirements for graduation.

iAdvise is your tool for Scheduling
Most of our colleges and success units are using iAdvise for scheduling and communication. You should viait the my.UIC portal and access the Advising Tab, and then click on the iAdvise Portlet. In your Success Network you will find your advisor(s). LAS assigned and major/minor advisors will be in iAdvise by Week 5 of Fall 2020.
