If you missed it, there's still time to connect with your fellow advisors and spend some quality time! Our next event will be a visit to Millennium Park for the award winning movie Hidden Figures. Here are the details:
Date: Tuesday, August 15th
Location: Millennium Park
Time: 5:00 p.m. if leaving UIC with us; 6:30 if you're meeting us at Millennium Park
We'll leave UIC around 5:00 p.m. and head over to get seats on the lawn - and enjoy watching the film with some great snacks and refreshments! We hope you can join us!
About the Film: The three-time Oscar Award-nominated film about the incredible, untold story of Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson – three brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains in the historic launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. The film is presented in conjunction with the Chicago Air and Water Show, happening August 19 and 20.
