The UARC Advising Awards Committee is pleased to announce that nominations are open for the 2016 Provost's Excellence in Undergraduate Advising Award, which recognizes professional advisors who have demonstrated exemplary skill in academic advising and a commitment to student success at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Eligible nominees include non-faculty professionals who spend a significant portion of their job advising undergraduates, including academic advisors in the colleges and departments as well as advisors in academic support/success programs.  Nominees must have served in an advisory capacity at UIC for at least one full academic year. Award recipients may be selected for the award no more than once every three years.

At this time, the Advising Awards Committee has planned for a deadline of February 15, 2016 for Advising Excellence nominations. The nomination form is available at http://go.uic.edu/AA2016.
