PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: NACADA Region V Call for Proposals is extended to next Friday, January 12th!
The OAD Steering Committee wants you to consider submitting a proposal for NACADA Region V in Ohio in Spring 2018! See below for the call for proposals, which has been extended to next Friday, January 12th. OAD is hosting open office hours on Wednesday, January 10th from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for consultation on proposals.

Dear Region V Members:
Before winter term begins for many of you, we encourage you to submit a proposal for the 2018 NACADA Great lakes Region V conference. The conference will be in Columbus, Ohio, April 11-13, 2018.
This year's theme, "The Art of Advising", provides the opportunity for you to present on key advising issues related to creativity, ingenuity, and application at the conference. Potential topics include: student retention, student recruitment, 1st year programming, probationary students, first generation students, technology, as well as topics of your choice.

The deadline for Region 5 proposals has been extended to Friday, January 12, 2018.
If you would like to volunteer to read submitted proposals, in January 2018, or be a volunteer at the conference, in April, you can sign up at the Great Lakes Region V, Conference Web site.
