2015 GPPA Chicago-Kent Sophomore Entry (6/1 application deadline)

The Office of Special Scholarship Program is seeking applications for the GPPA Kent College of Law program. Students who are completing their freshman year and going into the sophomore year at UIC can apply.

Students in the program must complete a bachelor’s degree at UIC prior to entering the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

The IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law’s history dates to 1888. The law school developed from the merger of the Chicago College of Law and the Kent College of Law. A 1969 merger made it part of the Illinois Institute of Technology. The law school has earned many accolades including being ranked 6th nationally in Trial Advocacy and 10th in Intellectual Property by U.S. News & World Report (March 2014). It is also considered a Best Value private law school by the National Jurist (October 2013), and its faculty ranks 52nd in the nation based on scholarly impact (Sisk et al., 2012).
