SHARE WITH STUDENTS: UIC Health and Wellness Academy
Please share with your students that are interested in the health professions who also might want to work with children:
The UIC Health and Wellness Academy is a 3 credit community outreach experiential learning course. UIC students participating in the course created and facilitated lessons that focused on nutrition and movement for 3rd-5th graders at Smyth Elementary school (Chicago Public School). This year there is an additional school sight, Altus Academy.
