You are invited to the inauguration of the new Global Asian Studies Program, which reflects the coming together of two academic programs - the Asian American Studies and Asian Studies programs at UIC beginning this fall.
It is an exciting moment for all of us and we hope that you can join us in the festivities. The keynote speaker is Prof. Vivek Bald, scholar, filmmaker, and author of Bengali Harlem and the Lost Histories of South Asian America.
