And we annually support advisors in their professional development endeavors as an essential part of furthering the work of these most valued front line professionals.

Nomination Submission Dates for the Provost’s Excellence and Outstanding Practitioner Awards:
- January 22, 2024: Nominations open
- March 8, 2024: Last day to initiate a new nomination
- March 27, 2024: Last opportunity for a nominee to accept nomination
- Nominees can accept any time after the nomination is initiated up until this date
- April 5, 2024: All Reference materials and supplemental materials are due
*Advisor on Fire recognition does not close, we welcome submissions at all times!
Nomination Process
Note: the full process and procedure for each award and nomination is described on each award’s page. The new process for submitting a nomination will launch a workflow:
- The nominator fills out the first portion and attaches a letter and any supporting documentation;
- The nominee is alerted, they accept or deny the nomination, upload their resume and any supporting documentation they want to include, and provide the NetIDs of two references;
- Emails are sent to the references, each reference fills out their portion, uploads their letter and any supporting documents they want to include;
- Notification is sent to the committee the submission is complete.
