Have you had a chance to attend some of our events this past year? Have you been looking to get involved on campus and to help shape professional development for our advising community?
If so, we want you to contribute! The OAD Steering Committee plans a range of professional development activities for advisors and much of our work is centered in our subcommittees. We're looking for volunteers for the 2016 - 2017 academic year. OAD's Subcommittees are:

Web/Newsletter/Social Media Presence (formerly E-Newsletter/Weekly Updates)
Brown Bags and Coffee Talks
Networking and Community Building

Although you can join most of our subcommittees at any point during the year, we are hoping to have a sense of our subcommittee membership by the end of Week 1. To participate for the entire year, please let us know by August 19th if you are interested in participating in a subcommittee to work with us to plan some great activities for this coming year!
