ADVISOR WEEK UPDATE ON TODAY’S BROWN BAG EVENT at 12:00 p.m. in 2550 UH – Lunch provided and a conference phone number available if you want to call in!
We have great news if you are planning on attending the Brown Bag today! Or if you thought you couldn’t participate – we have a call in option for you!
We will now be providing lunch for attendees who come in person, but for those who might not be able to leave the office or who might not be on campus today, we have a call in phone number for you to participate in the conversation!
As a follow-up to NACADA’s recent webinar “Advising Strategies for Students on Academic Probation”, we will be holding an open discussion to talk through important issues/questions raised in the webinar as well as discuss what initiatives are already in place at UIC to support students experiencing academic difficulty. Please view the webinar in advance and share in this important discussion.
(For those who were unable to attend the webinar, a recording of the webinar will be available at the following link: http://connect.ksre.ksu.edu/p76rheoe562/. Handouts from the webinar are also posted online here: http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/Events-Programs/Events/Web-Events/Web-Event-Handouts.aspx.)
The event starts at 12:00 p.m. and is scheduled until 1:30 p.m. today in 2550 UH. If you will be calling in, can you let Joey know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and use the following dial-in information:
Phone Number: 1-877-873-8017
Access Code: 3385630
We look forward to seeing you today and if you can’t join us for the discussion, we hope that you’ll be able to make time to come to the other events today – seed planting and our after-work networking event at Lalo’s.
